San Éna

NAMING, NARRATIVE, BRANDING & COLLATERAL

Modern food from the Mediterranean & Greek Isles; where food, people and flavours all come together, ‘as one’.

Taken from the Greek meaning, ‘as one’, San Éna is a relaxed bistro, inspired by the diverse, surrounding neighbours of the Mediterranean and the Greek isles – where food, people, cultures and flavours all come together, as one. Casual but with contemporary flare, the menu is of a timeless approach with laid-back dishes focussing on outstanding, seasonal produce; hand selected from local markets, capturing ingredients in their prime, and using modern, slow-cooking techniques, such as live-fire, wood roasting and charring. A contemporary wine list offers low intervention, organic, biodynamic and natural varieties – from well known blends to unusual newcomers.

Naming generation & brand story creation was established, developing into a full brand identity, menu design, marketing collateral, and look and feel direction for signage, OS&E and uniforms. Bespoke illustrations were created using a handcrafted approach detailing common objects and items of Greek and Med life. Menus and brand collateral follow a non-grid and ‘floaty’ approach, as if floating from one island to the next.
